Forty national teams will gather for masterclasses and tastings, then compete to blindly identify 12 wines, for which they will have to determine the grape variety, country of production, appellation, vintage, and producer.
Led by a captain, each four-member team will have to demonstrate their wine knowledge, as well as boldness and cohesion to hope to win.
Their supports and fans will be able to watch the competition onsite, or online as it will broadcast live worldwide.
About the exceptional location:
Fort des Rousses is a vast military structure built during the French Second Empire, located on a dominant position in the Jura region. This exceptional monument which hosts miles of underground galleries, now houses the maturation of more than 140,000 wheels of Comté Juraflore in ideal aging conditions.
The Fort is full of mysteries that the teams will discover over a two-day event: At least one of them will be solved: who will be the next World Tasting Champion
