WSET SAT© Warm-Up : Two Blind-Tasted Wine Pairs to Identify Grape Variety and Country of Origin

Organized by Esprits de Vins for the WSET, this exclusive masterclass will feature four wines, tasted blind in two pairs. The tasting will be led by Rod Smith MW, Chair of the Institute of Masters of Wine, and Matthew Stubbs MW, both educators at Esprits de Vins for the WSET Level 4 Diploma.

For WSET graduates, this masterclass is an ideal final warm-up, offering high-level blind tasting practice immediately before the competition.

For competitors who are less familiar with the WSET approach, it provides a unique opportunity to discover how the Systematic Approach to Tasting (SAT) helps decode wines methodically and confidently.

The session will be introduced by Reynald Nicolas DipWSET, co-owner of Esprits de Vins, who was captain of the French team that became World Tasting Champions last year in Fort des Rousses. The masterclass will conclude with a short Q&A session on the WSET Diploma and the journey to becoming a Master of Wine.
