The Robert et Marcel winery is a key and historic player in the Saumur and Bourgueil terroirs. With the creation of the Les Vignobles Edonis brand, it wanted to breathe new life into the cooperative model and promote to consumers, with the help of its partners, the sensory richness of the Val de Loire region. This region which is the garden of France and which stretches along its majestic river and its vineyard; the longest and most diverse in France. This playground offers us a variety of assets to offer both wines for all profiles of amateurs and those curious about wine, but also immersive wine tourism experiences. On this point, we are firmly convinced that wine is no longer enough and that it must be accompanied by memories and moments of conviviality.
Our common denominator and the values ??that we wish to convey to our customers are those of hedonism: this insatiable taste for sharing and good food as well as the need to perpetuate our traditions and our heritage by allowing them to remain very contemporary.
In this respect, the wealth of our wine region is also the fruit of the promotion of exceptional terroirs. Within the Robert and Marcel cellar, these are called Les Poyeux, Brézé, terroirs with an unmissable and never-questioned reputation. The cellar being an eminent player in this history by its majority surface area. If we talk about the great terroirs of the cellar, we must obviously also talk about Clos Cristal and its 10 ha enclosure, a real monopoly, iconic of Saumur Champigny.
